Never used rally on AC yet. What's the idea exactly?
Pegasus Just thought maybe theres people out there like me who dont do online but would like some times to beat that isnt curcuit. if not posable then no problem as most if not all stages/cars are mods.
Is the total time enough? Or do you need stage times also? Stage times might be complicated.

Pegasus I was thinking stages as they are a point to point, so the time from point a to b is what i was thinking. cheers

Ok I've looked into things a bit.
There are no sector times available for the rally type tracks that I can see. So the track would have to be broken into sections, either manually at certain specific points on the track by someone, or by dividing the track up into e.g. 5 equal parts.
Also the ghost cars features are not available for these tracks.
This could be implemented in some form. What would be the idea - different lap time tables for each sector, with standings points for each sector and extra standings points for the overall fastest time? Or something else?
Name - Sec1 - Sec2 - Sec3 - Sec4 - Sec5 - Total - Points
Drv.A : 55.2 . 40.9 . 49.6 . 56.3 . 44.5 . 4'06.5 => 220
Drv.B : 44.2 . 40.9 . 49.1 . 55.4 . 46.7 . 3'56.3 => 190
Is there much interest for this sort of thing? A lot of players doing rallying in AC?

I see it doesnt look easy to do. honestly i would just like a time to beat on a hillclimb or rally stage, in the easyest way possible.
Im not sure on how popular rally is on ac. From what ive seen on youtube its getting more popular but that might be down to a few new rally car mods.
Cheers for looking into it but if will be to hard then no problem. I know AC is not so much a rally game as is curcuit racing.
Actually AC has become the go-to platform for tarmac rallying, because the official WRC game is a bit crappy, and in Dirt Rally 2.0 tarmac physics are not so good. AC is even in use in rally schools.
The only thing that's missing is user-friendly online competition options...
